The Belle Meade Schoolhouse was originally constructed in 1914. In the 1950s county schools were consolidated to new buildings on Highway 211. For over forty years this building sat empty except for apple crates.
In 1998 Susan and Mike acquired the schoolhouse and its acre lot, rejoining the land that had been split off from the farm for 80 years. They have moved the building back from the road, elevated it one story, and extensively renovated.

Just an hour and a half drive from DC, MD, and many locations in VA. We plan to do more in-person events in 2025, now that we’ve got this great space to teach in.
